Origin

Volta was born in Paris in 2015 by the hand of Otxo Amade to redefine how we inhabit spaces through balance, light, and air.
Inspired by the revolutionary legacy of 20th-century kinetic art and the purity of midcentury design, the brand began its journey with a clear purpose: to democratize contemporary sculpture, transforming it into an accessible piece with a deep cultural narrative.

Vision

Each mobile is conceived as a living sculpture that silently dialogues with the environment, capturing the imperceptible breeze and casting shadows that change depending on the time of day. What began as a fascination with the physical harmony of shapes has consolidated into a recognizable aesthetic universe, where each piece introduces a necessary visual pause in the contemporary routine.

Philosophy

At the heart of Volta is an invitation to live in a more paused and conscious way, aligned with the slow decorating trend. The brand firmly believes that the contemporary home should be a space of emotional regulation, well-being, and personal expression where meaningful objects with a history reside, bringing character and serenity.

Craftsmanship

Every Volta piece is born in our Barcelona workshop where craftsmanship and contemporary design converge. The expert hands of our artisans meticulously work with aluminum and steel, giving each sculpture a unique hallmark.
Through a careful powder coating process and precise manual balancing, the cold metal is transformed into an expression of lightness and harmony.
